DOCS WELLNESS takes a medical approach offering different strategies to help you accomplish your goals. We offer a variety of prescription medications & the option to work with an in-house Certified Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach who collaborates with our medical team to better serve you.

For over 80 years we have been dedicated to serving our patients on an individual level to meet each person where they are. We are built on generations of weight loss success and we are committed to continuing to innovate and offer the best options for our patients.

Feel free to call or book your first appointment with us online . Once you have created an appointment you will receive an email inviting you to create your Client Portal where we will have you fill out a few necessary forms for us to serve you well.

When you arrive for your appointment, you will meet with our medical team, who will finalize your new patient registration and record your vitals for that day. Help yourself or let us serve you a beverage as you wait to meet with our Nurse Practitioner.

During your consultation our Medical Director, Dr. Jon McGhee, will have our Nurse Practitioner, Schuyler Van Emburg, consult and strategize a plan with you in order to achieve your desired weight. You will discuss a variety of information from habits, calorie range, medical history, diet accountability, and medication treatment options.

At the conclusion of your appointment you will pick up the medication that was prescribed to you at our front desk before you leave. No need to go to a pharmacy!

All of our patients will meet with our Nurse Practitioner every 6 months and will have access to our other offerings like, B-12, Personal Training, and Nutrition Coaching.

We offer a variety of medications to help you reach your goal. Below is a list of options:

·NEW! Injectable weight loss medications: Semaglutide (similar to Ozempic) & Tirzepatide (similar to Mounjaro)

· Oral weight loss medications

Upon meeting with our Nurse Practitioner, he will prescribe based on your specific history and needs.

Each of our medications are prescribed in a 1-month supply, but you can refill your prescription by simply stopping by our office.

We also offer B-12 injections, which we highly recommend due to its positive effects on your energy levels and boost in metabolism. Injections may be purchased in a single dose administered in our office or in a months supply (4 doses) to be administered at home.

Schuyler earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK in 2014. He then worked for the Regional Medical Lab in their microbiology department. Changing his career and following his love for helping patients hands-on, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Langston University in Tulsa, OK in 2018. Following his graduation, he started work with Saint Francis Health Systems in their geriatric psychiatry. During his time as a Registered Nurse, he continued his academic pursuits and completed his Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Family Practice. Once becoming board-certified in Family Practice, he joined with Docs Wellness to further realize his dream of impacting patients in a personal and holistic manner. Schuyler is a family man, enjoying his free time with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys reading, soccer, art, and the outdoors.
